I’m Helen your friendly, savvy social media consultant and trainer (the official line is I’m a fully trained and qualified social media consultant and certified trainer, based in Orpington, Kent).

With a background of over 19 years in hospitality I retrained as a social media manager, as I wanted a career that fitted around family life. I saw a gap in the local market for helping local businesses and start ups with their social media, and set up a successful local online business BR6Life for local independent businesses.

I really enjoy my journey and want to help more businesses locally and further afield with their social media, hence the birth of The Social Surgery.
